Bluebird of Happiness

When I was up in Mt.Charleston, my mom bought me a spiral necklace with a Lapis lazuli jewel from a Navajo lady. She gave us a little brochure on different Navajo meanings; a spiral meaning new beginnings and a Lapis lazuli for creativity. When we were there I saw a bluebird in a tree that was just stunning, it looked like it had a little Mohawk, I wish I would've got a picture of it! Bluebirds are a great spirit to the Navajo people, they represent the rising sun. This is a Navajo song that is sung before sunrise:

 Bluebird said to me,
"Get up, my grandchild.
It is dawn," It said to me.
