A Wild Daisy

A Wild Daisy 5" x 7" oil on masonite
I like the way the flower is leaning into the light, like in a friendly type of manner. I took advantage of the black background as much as I could. I also made that glass bottle in college, which accounts for the irregular shape. I also love how simply and quickly the flower came together, it's funny what a few primarily sketches can do to a quick alla prima painting.
